  • Our Story at EnTo

Encourage Tomorrow was founded by Suzanne Moreno in 1994 and incorporated in 1997. It was originally established to field test specialized curriculum designed to raise the educational aspirations and performance of young Hispanic women for the California Department of Education through a partnership with the League of Mexican American Women and Fresno Unified School District. The program started in a low income housing site with 10 students. It has grown to become a stable and effective statewide provider of educational (ELP) programs and parent services. Encourage Tomorrow programs are provided to children and families in communities and school districts from San Diego to Sacramento.

Welcome to our new website. We hope you will enjoy reading all about the many educational programs that we have to offer. We have worked really hard to provide an updated and interactive website. As you browse through the pages, you will discover that we have significantly grown since we originally developed our website. We have gone from the box on my kitchen table to a statewide organization serving thousands of students and families through a variety of programs! Our staff is committed and dedicated to our mission of providing quality educational programs that empower individuals to become resilient and to maintain healthy lifestyles. Through their tireless efforts, they tutor in homes, teach parents how to help their children succeed in school, and help children understand their emotions while their parents are going through divorce or separation. Given the economic times, our programs are needed more than ever. Your donation of time or money is greatly appreciated. Please come by and visit us anytime.
